Method 1: Runt he Repair utility:

  1. On the Utility menu, click System Utilities.
  2. Click Software Diagnosis and then click Run Utility.
  3. If Mismatch appears in the Status column, click it and then click Fix.

Method 2: Uninstall and reinstall the program

  1. Right-click the program icon and then click Properties.
  2. Make note of the Start In folder – when reinstalling, you must reinstall to this folder.
  3. Click Start and then click Control Panel.
  4. Double-click Add or Remove Programs.
  5. Click the copy of the program experiencing the issue and then click Remove.
  6. Insert the program installation CD into the CD or DVD drive. The installation program should begin automatically. If it does not, in My Computer, right-click your CD drive and then click AutoPlay.
  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the program.
