Error Message: "Your access authorization level of ADMINSTRATOR is inadequate for the requested function Send Text Message” when sending a text message
SYMPTOMS
When trying to send a text message, the following error message appears:
- Your access authorization level of ADMINSTRATOR is inadequate for the requested function Send Text Message
CAUSE
The Administrator account does not have the access level “Send Text Message”. This is can be caused by transferring login accounts from the prior year. New access level permissions are not included in any existing access level groups.
RESOLUTION
- log in to the program as a user with Administrator rights.
- From the top menu, select Setup->Login Accounts.
- Click the Access Levels button.
- Select Administrator from the Select level to modify list.
- Under Access to Select, highlight Send Text Message.
- Click Add-> to add Text Message access to the Administrator access level.
Administrators should now be able to send text messages.
