How to use StatusSync to simultaneously update the filing status of all the tax returns in the program

This article demonstrates how to simultaneously update the statuses of the tax returns in the program. This article may be useful if tax return data has been recently restored and local filing statuses are to be synchronized the filing status information with Central Site.
Note: This method is functional in the program 2010 and later.

To simultaneously update the tax return status, follow these steps:

  1. Open the program, click the Utility menu and then click System Utilities.
  2. Click the StatusSync option and then click Run Utility. The program will connect with Central Site to obtain and synchronize filing status information.
