To install the Topaz Electronic Signature Pad, follow these steps:

1. Browse to the program website at www.taxproalliance.com.
2. Click Affiliate Login.
3. Type the Username and Password under Support Login and then click Login.
4. Point the mouse at Downloads and then click Other Downloads.
5. Click Topaz Signature Pad Drivers.
6. If prompted, click Save to save the file. Once the file has finished downloading open the file.
7. Click Extract all files, check the Show extracted files when complete checkbox, and then click Extract. A window will pop up showing the extracted files once complete.
8. Double click "sigplus.exe" to begin installation. If a Security Warning window appears, click Run.
9. From the Welcome screen, click Next.
10. From the Read Me File screen, click Next.
11. From the Choose Destination Location screen, click Next.
12. Click your operating system and then click OK.
    1. Note: If you are using Windows 7 as your operating system, select Windows98\ME\2000\XP\2003\Vista:
       
       

       
       

13. Click the applicable signature pad model and then click OK. If you don’t know the model, you can find it on the bottom of the signature pad.
    
    

    
    

14. Click the applicable connection type and then click OK.
    1. If your Topaz Signature Pad connects to your computer via a USB connection, select HSB (USB type).
15. Verify the signature pad is unplugged and then click OK.
    
    

    
    

16. Review the license agreement and then click Agree. Setup installs the signature pad software.
17. When the Demo.ocx or Adobe.ocx screen appears, click No and then click OK.
18. When the SigPlus Documentation Directory dialog appears, click OK.
19. When the ~Sigplus Plug-Ins, Tools, and Examples dialog appears, click OK.
20. When the HSB Support (if using USB) dialog appears, click OK.
21. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
22. Plug in the Topaz Signature Pad and Windows installs the necessary drivers.
